Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Dolores L. (Michaels-Stahlman) Gaumer, 81, of Hyndman died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at WMHS Frostburg Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born October 8, 1930, in Frostburg, MD; she was the daughter of the late Ambrose E. and Bessie M. (Booth) Michaels. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William W. Gaumer in 2008.

She is survived by children Linda Bohrer and husband Mark, Janet Shroyer and husband Jim, Curtis “Richard” Stalhman Jr. and wife Debbie all of Hyndman; step-children, Linda Robinson and husband Stan of Hyndman, Bill Gaumer and wife Susan of Cumberland, Janet Kalp and husband Jeff of Perryville, MO, Gary Gaumer of Garrett, PA, Jim Gaumer and wife Karen of Hyndman; grandchildren, Angie Kennell, Jackie Bittner, Mike Lantz, Joey Rochelle Miller, Josh and Ben Shroyer, Heather Jenkins, Kurt, Chris and Shane Stahlman; 24 great grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

She also has a special daughter, Joyce Willison and husband Kenny of Buffalo Mills.

Dolores has resided over the past four years with her daughter Linda after the death of her husband. Until her recent health problems she attended Glad Tidings Church.

Her children would like to “Thank” their mom for all the life lessons she taught them over the years. She will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. and on Thursday from 10 to 11 am

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Ken Haines officiating.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, with Dolores’s grandsons serving as pallbearers.
