Cumberland, MD – Dolly G. Emerick, 90, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord Monday May 27, 2013 at Frostburg Village.

Born August 25, 1922, in Kennells Mill; she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Gertrude Elizabeth (Lepley) Emerick. She was also preceded in death by her companion, George C. Leydig and his son, Junior Leydig, grandsons, Ronald Emerick Jr. and Jason Logsdon; a brother, Vernon Emerick, sisters, Alverda Shroyer, Gladys Leydig and Betty Lewis.

She is survived by children, Barbara Logsdon of Hyndman, Ronald Emerick and wife Karen of Wellersburg, David Emerick and wife Teresa of Hyndman, Patricia Troutman and husband Johnny of Corriganville; six grandchildren, Susan Guthrie, Tonya Moomaw, Terri Brown and husband Steve, Michael Emerick, David Logsdon Jr., and Scotty Troutman; 13 great grandchildren, Calvin, Ashley, Zackary Brittney, Amber, Cheyenne, Sadie, Seth, Caleb, Bradley, Sky, Sage, and Summer; two great-great grandchildren, Rilan and Zaria.

Dolly was a nursing assistant at Memorial Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of LaVale Assembly of God Church.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at Comps Church, Southampton Twp, Hyndman PA on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Roger Huffman and Martin Lease officiating.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
