Hyndman, PA – Donna L. Kennell, 66, of Hyndman, passed away, Monday, October 24, 2011, at her residence.

Born October 9, 1945, in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Robert V. and Helen Lee (Middleton) Dennison. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Denny Dennison.

Mrs. Kennell is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward H. Kennell Sr., whom she married July 27, 1963, at Redeemers Methodist Church, Ellerslie, by Rev. Zinn; children, Tina McKenzie and husband Gary of Lonaconing, Edward Kennell Jr. of Somerset, James Kennell and wife Krista (Winebrenner) of LaVale, Tammy Hunter and husband Donald of Martinsburg, PA, Thomas Kennell and wife Crystal of Hyndman; grandchildren, Samantha Mills and husband Justin, Ashley Haggerty and husband Eric, George Hansrote III, Cody Hunter, Tracey, Tiffany, and Katilyn Kennell; great grandchildren, Rebekah , Elijah and Rachel Mills, and Alexis Haggerty; sisters, Hannah Mitchell of Rockwood, Nancy Bridges of Cumberland; brothers, Walter, Bill, John, Jim and Roger Dennison all of Hyndman, Rick Dennison of Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kennell was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hyndman, were she taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was a social member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmans Club; Barrelville Outdoor Club and the Ridgley VFW Post 6452.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery, Hyndman PA.
