Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA Dorothy B. Stuby, 87 of Buffalo Mills, died Monday November 14, 2011 at UPMC Bedford Hospital.

Born December 4, 1923, in Buffalo Mills, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Emma E. (Housel) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Stuby in 1999; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Sciranko and Jennifer Williams; a brother, Irvin Smith; sisters, Mary Stahlman, Dolores Bittner and Ethel Mays.

She is survived by a son, Charles Stuby and wife Debra of Buffalo Mills; daughters, Sharon Crawford of Buffalo Mills, and Mary Sciranko of Manns Choice; five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stuby had worked as a waitress at Roll-A-Arena for 15 years. She retired from the Hyndman Area School District as the head cook. She attended the Manns Choice Church of God.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
