Eleanor Louise Stair
Hyndman, PA – Eleanor Louise Stair, 76, of Hyndman, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at UPMC Bedford Hospital.
She was born January 7, 1937; in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Edward E. Thomas and Sarah Lovina Custer. She was also preceded in death by a son, Greg Stair, a sister, Roberta Boland and special friend, Joseph R. Klucker.
Survived by sons, Eric Stair and fiance Amber Hannahs, Kevin Stair, both of Hyndman; 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Allison, and Jade Stair, Crystal Crites; Hunter and Jerry Hannahs; Shane Shrout; sisters, Effie Brown of Buffalo, NY; Shelby Gable of Cresaptown and Leetta Smith of Depew, NY.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Korns officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery with Eric, Kevin, Tyler and Justin Stair, Shane Shrout and Jerry O’Baker serving as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank hospice nurses, Jenny Lewis, Erica Erdley, Georganna Tomchick and Donna Fyfe.
