Obituary

Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Clites, 68, of Hyndman passed away Monday September 17, 2012 at her residence.

Born October 25, 1943 in Johnstown, PA; she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Katharine (Perell) LePere. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Anthony LePere, James LePere, Robert LePere and sister, Rose Frank

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, E. Howard Clites; a daughter, Amy Bruck of LaVale; a son, Stacy Clites of Hyndman; grandchildren, Ashley Clites, Cassandra DeVore, Zachary Clites, Courtney Bruck, and Lucas Bruck; great-grandchildren, Carter and Bentley; sisters, Joanne Schultz of Charleston, SC, Katy DuPras of Naples, FL; a brother, Richard LePere of Washington, DC; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Clites was a Transportation Contractor for the Bedford Area School District for 36 years. She was a member of Gravel Pit United Methodist Church, served as a Girl Scout leader and was the Secretary of the Ft. Bedford Antique Car Club for many years.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. E. Robert Nagy and Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
