Obituary

Eugene Paul Doden, 97, of Buffalo, died Sunday December 16, 2012 at Rebecca’s Manor, Everett.

Born July 27, 1915 in Burlington, IA; he was a son of the late John and Bertha (Hoelzen) Doden. He was also preceded in death by his wife Bette V. (Lane) Doden; and a son, Bruce E. Doden.

He is survived by daughters, Christine Doden and husband DaveClause, Falls Church, VA; Linda Clendening , Woodstock, VA; six grandchildren, Brad Greg, Jeff, Stephanie, Doug, and Tank; eight great grandchildren, Suzanne, Ben, Josh, Haley, Dylan, Zachary, Ray and Rori.

Mr. Doden retired from the United States Postal Service as a letter Carrier. He was also a farmer and drove truck and bus.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday From 1 to 2 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Beverly Roscoe officiating.

Burial will follow at Milligan’s Cove Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
