Ellerslie, MD Grace LuElla Miller, 95, of Ellerslie, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Lions Center, Cumberland.

Born December 29, 1916, in Ellerslie; she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Bertie (Stouffer) Leydig. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mabel Sturtz, Almeda Myers, Amy Miller, Alzine Johnson; and a brother, George Lybarger.

She is survived by daughters, Myrna Lea Anderson and husband Clarence, Carolyn Mason and husband Kenneth all of Ellerslie; a son, Stephen Miller of Colorado Springs, Co.; six grandchildren, Janie Bucy and husband Jim, Diane Anderson, Timothy Anderson and wife Dawn, Andrew Mason and wife Kim, Seth Miller and wife Elizabeth, and Adrienne Miller; 14 great grandchildren, Stephen Bucy and wife Christy, Jonathan Bucy and wife Molly, Katelyn Bucy, Zarian Anderson, Isaac Bucy, Alek Prus, Adrian Prus, Nick Prus, Caleb Anderson, Seth Anderson, Hayley Mason, Zachary Mason, Samuel Miller and Matthew Miller; two great-great granddaughters, Meghan Bucy and Madalyn Bucy; a sister, Mary Ellen Shroyer and husband Jude of Ellerslie.

Grace retired after 27 years at DeVore’s Market in Ellerslie. Grace was an accomplished artist who painted over 100 paintings. She competed in county fairs in Allegany and Somerset Counties winning numerous ribbons in baked goods, flowers, paintings and garden produce. She was also an avid birdwatcher.

Grace was a member of Solid Rock Independent Baptist church where a memorial service will be held on Sunday July 15, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. John L Klink. officiating. Please join us celebrating her life.

Burial will take place at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
