Hazel Katherine Shroyer

Fairhope, PA – Hazel Katherine Shroyer, 85, of Fairhope, went to be with the Lord Thursday March 20, 2014 at Meadowview Nursing Home in Berlin.
Born July 5, 1928 in Mt. Savage, MD; she was a daughter of the late William and Ella (Smith) Winebrenner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey J. Shroyer Sr; a sister, Thelma Hughes; brothers, Allen and Graham Winebrenner.
Hazel is survived by sons, Harvey J. Shoyer Jr and wife Kathy of Fairhope; Billy P. Shroyer and wife Alice of Berlin; grandchildren, Melanie Michael of Cumberland, Hayley Belardi of Somerset, Angela (Shroyer) Nunamaker and husband Todd of Berlin, Jesse Shroyer of Fairhope, Andrew Shroyer and wife Caitlin of Berlin, Jason Reese of Windber, Benjamin Hay and wife Keisha of Anchorage, AK, and Elizabeth Hay of Berlin; great grandchildren, Millena, Lilly, Asa, Zya, Haleigh, Brock, and Cameron; a sister, Marilyn Evans of Midlothian, MD; and a brother, Albert Winebrenner of WA.

Mrs. Shroyer was a homemaker and a member of the Homemakers Club in Fairhope. She was also a member of Faith Community Church in Hyndman and the Hyndman Senior Center.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Faith Community Church, 287 Faith Church Rd., Hyndman on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Terry Campbell and Daniel Judy officiating.
Burial will be at Comps Cemetery.
