Hyndman, PA – Russell E. Hosselrode , 56, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Sunday April 28, 2013 at his home surrounded in love by his family.
Born February 3, 1957 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Lester and Marian (Lowery) Hosselrode. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Curtis, Theodore “Buck”, and Harry Hosselrode; a sister, Vivian “Beese” Webber.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy (Emerick) Hosselrode; whom he married November 1, 1975; daughters, Evelyn Troutman and husband Jeff; Dena Howe and husband Robert of Hyndman, a grandson Colby Troutman; sisters, Anna Webber and husband Barney, Debbie Piper and husband Johnny all of Hyndman and many nieces and nephews.
Russell loved working in the woods. He was a logger and had worked for Stairs Lumber. He also worked at Mount Savage Brickyard.
He attended the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Kennell Mills; was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed attending his grandson, Colby’s Baseball games, cutting wood, hunting and mushroom hunting.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Kennell Mills on Thursday at 2pm with Pastor Doug Gnagey and Brother Jeff Troutman officiating.
Burial will follow at Hosselrode Cemetery, Hyndman PA.

The family would like to thank each person who came to visit, Russell loved company. We appreciate all the help, whether you brought food, gave donations or said a prayer. Russell would always say the prayers were worth more to him than thousand dollar bills. Thank you to Hospice for their care and compassion towards Russell and our family.
