Idella Evans
Hyndman, PA Idella Evans, 88, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord Tuesday October 22, 2013 at her home.
Born June 22, 1925 in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Mahlon W. and Nellie Grace (Aberle) Evans. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Glenn, and Ray Evans.
Survived by her lifelong companion, Ada Simpkins; sisters-in-law, Jean Evan of Hyndman; Katherine Evans of Cumberland; nephews, Greg Evans of Hyndman, Dave Evans and wife Brenda of Tucson, AZ; nieces, Gail Sides and husband John of Vail AZ; Glenna Bridges and husband Ron of Hyndman; Polly Groves and husband Tom of Buffalo Mills, Karen Sides and husband Stephen of Hamilton, OH; and many great nieces and nephews.
Idella retired from Memorial Hospital. She worked in the business office for 38 years. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11a.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Greg Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
