Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Joshua D. “Turtle” Gordon, 30, of Hyndman, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born September 13, 1982, in Hagerstown, MD; he was a son of Mark and Lorelei (Emerick) Gordon. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Rose Marie Emerick; William and Jessie Gordon.

He is survived by his mother ,Lorelei Gordon, Hyndman; father, Mark Gordon and wife Cheryl, Cumberland, brothers, Terrence and Joseph Gordon, Jeffery Corbin Jr., and Zachary and Brady Logsdon all of Hyndman; grandfather, Terrence Emerick and friend, Elizabeth, Mt. Savage; aunts and uncles, Kathy Jewell, Hedgesville, MD, Nancy Boyce and husband Scott, Millersville, MD, James Emerick and wife Tammy, Mt. Savage; special great uncle and aunt, William and Bonnie Emerick, Mt. Savage; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh worked at Upright Fence Company, was a member of Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Beverly Roscoe officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
