Karen E. (Dyer) Flinn

Hyndman, PA Karen E. (Dyer) Flinn, 63, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born February 6, 1951, in Carlinville, Ill; she was a daughter of Earl Harvey Dyer and the late Nancy Lee Tharp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Doug” Flinn in 1996; a brother, Robert “Bob” Dyer in 2002 and a granddaughter, Hope C. Leister in 2001.
Survived by a daughter, Christina M. Leister and husband Alan, Hyndman; a son, William “Bill” Keith and fianc, Fran Wiseman, Illinois; four grandchildren, Alyssa G. Bartlett and husband Travis, Morgantown, WV, Abragale A. Keith, Cumberland, William “Will” Keith and Baylee K. Keith, Illinois; a great granddaughter, Sawyer G. Bartlett, Morgantown; three sisters, Toni Richards, Maria Pritchard, and Tracy Reynolds all of Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Flinn was a waitress, caregiver and homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ridgeley Church of Christ.
There will be no viewing. At Mrs. Flinns request, she will be cremated.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence St Hyndman PA on Thursday May 29th at 6:30PM with the Evangelist Charles Kerns officiating
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the hospice staff of Home Nursing Agency, special nurse “Jada” and aide, Brenda for their care and comfort. Also to friends and family for all their love, support and concern. She will be greatly missed by all.
