Hyndman, PA Kay Mueller, 75, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Friday February 15, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Born April 20, 1937 in Everett; she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Lottie (Shroyer) Manges. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Mueller; and a brother, Edmund Lee Manges.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles L. Mueller, whom she married December 16, 1966; children, Robin Keel and husband Mike of Hyndman; James Kelly of Manns Choice, Sonja Maphis and friend, John Vandevander of Kline WV, Charles “Chuckie” Mueller and friend Judy of Kennells Mill; a brother, Paul Manges and wife Sharon of Buffalo Mills; 11 grandchildren, Danielle Sirbaugh and husband Raymond, Michael Maphis and Wife Kimberly, Amanda Johnson and husband Doug, Jeremi Mueller and wife Virginia, Adam Maphis, Justin Mueller, Justin Keel and wife Kesha, Amber Nagengast and husband Greg, Amy Just, Billy and Brandon Kelly; 16 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
Kay was the secretary and treasurer for Mueller Homes, she was a member of Faith Community Church where she was secretary for the church board and president of the Ladies Fellowship. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Gideon’s Auxiliary.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at Faith Community Church, 287 Faith Church Rd., Hyndman on Monday at 11a.m. with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Community Church, Community Nursing Hospice, or Gideon’s International.
