Kevin Michael “Musky” Lynch, 35, of Wellersburg, died Saturday, September 19, 2010.

Born August 17, 1975, in Cumberland, MD, he is the son of Gerard and Helen (Sturtz) Lynch.

He is survived by his parents Gerard “Jerry” and Helen of Wellersburg, maternal grandmother, Effie Sturtz of Wellersburg; aunts and uncles, Dennis Lynch and wife Darlene of Meyersdale, Mary Margaret Broadwater and husband Jim of Piney Mountain, Richard Sturtz and wife Karen of Barrelville, Jerry Sturtz, Robert Sturtz and wife Tammy both of Wellersburg, Rick Sturtz and wife Darla of Fredericktown, PA, Harvey Sturtz and friend, Liz, Peggy Muir, Anna Morgan and husband Allen all of Wellersburg; special friends, Leroy, Sharon Matt and Tim Emerick, of Wellersburg and Sam Horning of Meyersdale; and many cousins.

Kevin worked as a welder for Four Guys in Meyersdale. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportmens Club, Barrelville outdoors club, Piney Mountian Sportsmen club, Glencoe Sportmens club and the Cumberland Bow Club.

Kevin also enjoyed racing and was a crew member of Matt Emericks number 85 car.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Kevin will be laid to rest at Cooks Cemetery with his good friends, Tim Emerick, Eric Filsinger, Mark Dom, Tyler Alkire, Nathan Miller and Richard Sturtz, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Matt Emerick, Keith Sturtz, Travis Bittner and Rick Glass.
