Leo W. Logsdon, 93, of Hyndman, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at his residence.

He was born September 30, 1916, in Hyndman; a son of the late Irvin H. and Bessie G. (Beal) Logsdon. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou (Hendershot) Logsdon, three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by sons, Ronald L. Logsdon and wife, Viola, Terry W. Logsdon and wife, Elaine, Michael Logsdon and wife, Bonnie all of Hyndman; daughters, Carole Ann Harvey and husband, Jerry of Keedysville, MD, Jennifer G. Bascelli and husband, Lou of Cumberland, MD; 12 grandchildren, Alan Logsdon, Leslie Logsdon, Matthew Logsdon, Renee` Weddle, Nikole Morningstar, Heather Winters, Tiffany Kennell, Jeremy Logsdon, Adam Logsdon, Tyler Logsdon, Amber Mallow, Kaitlyn Bascelli; 22 great grandchildren, Ronnie, Brittany, Lucas, Taylor, Tallia, Tarryn, and Tattum Logsdon, Brandon, Danielle, Cody, and Jared Haines, Luke and Dalton Weddle, Hunter, Noah, Ayden, and Emercyn Morningstar, Kendra and Joseph Winters, Reese and Kameron Kennell and Brayden Mallow, and one great-great grandson, Tyler Brosman.

Mr. Logsdon retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire Company. He was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII. He attended the Bible Gospel Church.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday, July 14th , from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, July 15th , at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fay Leydig officiating.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman PA.
