Hyndman, PA – Mary Emma Shaffer, 84, of Hyndman died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Born June 28, 1928, in Fairhope, PA; she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Ruth Pearl (Emerick) Shaffer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles John Shaffer in 2003; daughters, Sharon Shaffer and Mary Lea Webber; a son-in-law, Roger Webber; and a brother, Donald Shaffer.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She had attended the Fairhope Community Church and had worked at the Fairfoot Shoe Factory.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry Elliott officiating

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
