Robert C. “Bob” Miller Sr.
Hagerstown, MD – Robert C. “Bob” Miller Sr., 86, died Sunday October 20, 2013 at NMS of Hagerstown.
Born October 10, 1927 in Bullskin Township, Fayette County, PA; he was a son of the late Clewell E. and Grace A. (Shaffer) Miller. He was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Miller Sr.; and a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Werner-Miller.
Survived by his wife of 62 year, Ruth (DeVore) Miller, whom he married July 7, 1951; a son, Robert Miller Jr. of Bunker Hill, WV; granddaughters, Rachel and Lacey Lee; a great granddaughter, Trinity; a sister-in-law, Mildred Miller of Hyndman, PA; and several nieces and nephews
Mr. Miller was a US Army Veteran. He worked as a repairman for SCM Corp. for many years. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hyndman, PA and the American Legion Hagerstown Post 42.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Pastor E. Robert Nagy officiating.
Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery.
