Robert E. Bingman, 83, of Barrelville, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born April 7, 1927, in Hyndman, PA; he was a son of the late John E. and Velma I. (Madden) Bingman. He was also preceded in death by his wife Kathleen “Sally” (Emerick) Bingman.

He is survived by children, Larry R. Bingman of Baltimore, MD, Mary Galyon, Vincent Sam Bingman, Jo Ann Bingman all of Newport, NC and Genevieve “Genny” Orrico and husband Daniel of Seminole, FL; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Bingman retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a mechanic and an instructor. He was also a mechanic for Volkswagen and a member of the Mount Savage VFW.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 10 to 11 with a service to follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
