Stanley B. Robertson, 78, of Buffalo Mills passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday July 12, 2010, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born September 16, 1931, in Buffalo Mills, PA; he was a son of the late Bruce and Josephine (Smith) Robertson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Robertson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Masilda (Willison) Robertson, whom he married June 8, 1957; daughters, Christie Walls and husband, Bernie, Diane Scaife and husband, Bob, both of Hyndman, a son, Bruce Robertson and wife, Misti, a daughter, Jodie Robertson-Claycomb and fiancé Dan William, both of Imler; grandsons, Bobby walls and wife Samantha, Jeff Walls and fiance Brittny Conner, and Bobby Scaifeall of hyndman; granddaughters, tonya Shroyer of Hyndman, Kayle Claycomb of Imler; great grandchildren, Lindsay and Connor Shroyer and step great granddaughter, Alexis Shippey of Hyndman; brothers, Bill Robertson and wife Maggie of manns choice, fred Robertson and wife Helen of Buffalo Mills, sister, Shirley Mitchell and husband Zane of New paris and many nieces and nephews.

Stanley served in the US Army in the Korean War. He was a life member of the Hyndman VFW. He retired from PennDot as an operator after 34 years of service.

Stanley was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and watch sports. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball. He will be greatly missed by his whole family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday, July 15th , from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, July 16th , at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dave Klink and Rev. Mark Blair officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
