Theodore H. “Buck” Hosselrode, 71, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 29, 2009.

Born July 30, 1938, in Kennells Mill, PA, he was a son of the late Lester Leroy and Marian Rosella Lowery Hosselrode. He was also preceded in death by his wife, E. Lorraine “Sugar” Hosselrode in 2008; a son, Michael L. Hosselrode, brothers, Curtis and Robert Hosselrode; and a sister, Vivian “Beese” Webber.

He is survived by a son, Jerry L. Hosselrode; a daughter, Suzie Bennett and husband Jim all of Hyndman; three grandchildren, Levi Hosselrode, Jake Bennett and Hunter Hosselrode and his mother, Tammy Richardson; brothers, Harry Hosselrode and wife Judy, Russell Hosselrode and wife Cindy; a sister, Anna Webber and husband Barney all of Hyndman.

Buck worked for Londonderry Township for many years. He was also a farmer and a mechanic and owner of a salvage yard.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Jeff Troutman officiating.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery with Rholand Beals Jr, Brian Hosselrode, Leon Moskey, Rick Beals, John Piper and Jason Piper serving as pallbearers.
