Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Ada Jean Shaffer, 86, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Thursday March 26, 2015 at Golden Living Meyersdale.
Born November 16, 1928 in Friend’s Cove, PA; she was a daughter of the late Eugene and C. Faye (Wertz) Shaffer. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Shaffer.
Survived by a sister, Doloris Korns and husband Melvin, whom she lived with, a brother, John Shaffer and wife Jeanie, a sister-in-law, Marion Shaffer all of Hyndman; an aunt, Verna Wolfe of Everett; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Palo Alto United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Haines officiating.
Burial at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman.
