Hyndman, PA – Albert “Al” Monroe Boyce Jr., 52, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Friday April 3, 2014.

Born September 13, 1962 in Baltimore, MD; he was a son of Albert Sr. and Carole (Wix) Boyce. He is preceded in death by his father Albert M. Boyce Sr. and his step mother, Mary Criss Boyce; and a step-brother, David Criss

Survived by his fiancée, Sue Kennell of Hyndman, children, Blake Boyce and Lacee Kennell; a great grandson, Riley Eggleston all of Hyndman, mother, Carole Parma and husband Joe of Castro Valley, CA; brothers, Donnie Boyce and Stephen Boyce of Baltimore; step-brothers, Eddie Criss of Codorus, PA and Bobby Criss of Westminster, MD sisters, Debbie Carrion of Castro Valley, CA, Laura Riffle of Orrtanna, PA, Carolee Calo of Essex, MD, and a step-sister, Janice Schmidt of Mechanicsburg, PA; special friends, Jon, Jenni and Paige Summers of Reisterstown, MD, and many nieces and nephews.

Al was a construction worker and heavy equipment operator. He had worked for the North American Millwright, Baltimore. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsman’s Club and the Cresaptown Eagles Club.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday at 1pm with Pastor Greg Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
