Albert Ellsworth Cook, 100, of Ellerslie, died June 3, 2021 at Devlin Manor. He was born August 21, 1920 in Southampton Township, PA; a son of the late Harry E Cook, Sr and Edna F (Rizer) Cook. Also preceding him in death his wife, Phyllis M (Lowery) Cook, a son, Ronald Cook, and a daughter-in-law, Lorie Cook, brothers, Jesse, Paul, Bob, and Harry Cook; sisters, Marion C Little and Blanche C Bingman. Surviving are sons, Gary Cook (Doris), James F. Cook (Lucile), Gerald Cook (Kathy); a daughter, Vivian Jamison (Cork); daughter-in-law, Carolyn Cook ;14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Also surviving sisters Bertha Emerick, Hyndman PA. Darlene Ringer, Conway SC, and Florence Cook, Hemet, Ca. Mr. Cook served in US Navy during World War II. He was a farmer, worked in coal mines, drove a cab and owned Cook Masonry. Donations may be made to the Ellerslie Volunteer Dept. PO Box 237. Ellerslie, MD 21529.
