Hyndman, PA – Alice Faye Ringler, 84, of Hyndman, passed away June 20, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

Born January 5, 1939, in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Delos and Tolva (May) Shaffer. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allen Ringler, 2021, sisters, Rita Leap, Joan Coughenour, Rose Fotchman; and a brother, Gary Shaffer.

Survived by her children, Allen Layne Ringler and Angie Ringler, Jill Lorrane Beland and Bruce Beland, Jennifer Alane Murphy and Eric Murphy, Jamey Lee Ringler and Sara Ringler; grandchildren, Amanda Lynne Burket (Glenn III), Alyssa Rae Johnson (Thomas), Kaylin Alane Ringler, Kaylee Layne Ringler, Janelle Louise Peracchino (Brock), Jericka Marie Ervin (Kristofer), Jessica Faye Nau (Johnny), Autumn Lee Bingham (Jacob), Amelia Lace Williams (Dylan), Jacee Lynn Ringler, Jamey Allen Ringler and Joah Austin Ringler; great grandchildren, Jesten Corbin, Easton Johnson, Alison Nau, Addison Nau, Elias Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Alivia Nau, Maddox Johnson, Colt Bingham, Lyra Peracchino; brother-in-law, Edison Ringler, sister-in-law, Donna Shaffer; many nieces and nephews

Alice worked as a telephone operator at Potomac Edison and as a teller at Hoblitzel National Bank. She was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband and was involved in Cub Scouts and Brownies. Alice loved working with her hands and sewing. She was a courageous cancer survivor battling for over 22 years. He family and many others will rember her as a faithful witness for Christ. Everyone says they have the best mom, but we had a perfect mom.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday June 23, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held Saturday June 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 222 Schellsburg St., Hyndman PA with Rodney Spiker officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
