Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Anna Rae Divelbiss, 78, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Thursday March 3, 2016 at UPMC Bedford.
Born July 28, 1937 in Madley, PA; she was a daughter of the late Willard and Mary (Hillegass) Hyde. She was also preceded in death by her husband James E. Divelbiss, October 2, 1994. They were married September 23, 1963 in Winchester, VA.
Survived by a son Glenn E. Divelbiss with whom she resided; paternal uncle Palmer Hyde and wife Gail of Ruffs Dale, PA as well as many cousins and her close friend Ruth Dermer.
Mrs. Divelbiss attended the Hyndman Church of the Brethren. She was a graduate of Bedford High School. She worked 12 years as a switchboard operator for United Telephone and more than 30 years as bookkeeper for J&J Drillers Service Co., Bedford, PA.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1pm with The Rev. Ryan Viands officiating.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hyndman Church of the Brethren or Bedford County Humane Society.
