Buffalo Mills, PA – Betty Ann (Leydig) Jordan, 62, of Buffalo Mills, went to be with the Lord Sunday January 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her family, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimers.

Born June 14, 1954 in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Howard Blair “Hook” and Betty Alzene (Troutman) Leydig; she was also preceded in death by a sister and her husband, Dorothy and Garry Ramsussen.

Survived by her husband of 44 years, Terry Lee Jordan Sr., whom she married June 30, 1972 in Ellerslie, MD; a daughter, Stephanie Renae Hiquet and husband Brian of Buffalo Mills, a son, Terry Lee Jordan Jr. and wife Alicia (Lombardo) of Hollidaysburg; grandchildren, Jordan and Josh Hiquet of Buffalo Mills, Carter Jordan of Hollidaysburg, brothers, Jimmy Leydig and wife Sandy (Shaffer) of Garnet Valley, PA, Robert Leydig and wife Gloria (Henry) of Everett, Howard Blair Leydig Jr. and wife Yvonne (Owens) of Buffalo Mills; sisters -in-law, Linda Clites and husband John of Cumberland, Sandy Corbin of Ellerslie, brother-in-law, James Jordan of LaVale; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a 1972 graduate of Hyndman High School. She worked at Hedstrom in the payroll department for 31 years. She was a life member of Gravel Pit United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and organ since she was a young girl.

She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, traveling, and spending time with family. She was a wonderful presence in all of the lives she touched and will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Fred Zickefoose and Dave Klink officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hyndman Senior Center, PO Box 456, Hyndman PA 15545.
