Obituary

Meyersdale, PA – Betty L. Logsdon, 92, of Meyersdale, formerly of Hyndman went to be with the Lord, Friday April 7, 2017 at the home of her granddaughter, Misty Ludy.
Born July 23, 1924 in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Leo and Bessie (Knapp) O’Baker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Logsdon; a brother, Jackie O’Baker; sons, Dave and Harry “Woody” Logsdon and two grandsons.
Survived by sons, Henry Logsdon and wife Kathy; Roger Logsdon and fiancé Tammy Weaverling; a daughter, Betty Ann Brick and husband David; daughter-in-law, Barb Logsdon all of Hyndman; sisters, June Sullivan and Doris Hall both of Hagerstown; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Betty was a member of Bible Gospel Church and the Hyndman Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing BINGO and having coffee with her friends at the Hornet’s Nest in Hyndman.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday April 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri -State Ministry Center.
