Bonita E. Lepley, 81, of Wellersburg passed away May 30, 2024 at her home.

Born March 21, 1943 in Kennells Mill; she was a daughter of the late George and Catharine (Geiger) Gomer. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Lepley; a son, Ronald E. Lepley; siblings, Robert Gomer, Zona Murphy, George Gomer, Hazel Mallow, Roland Gomer, great grandson, Karter.

Survived by children Patricia (Brown) Emerick and husband Thomas, Terry D. Brown and wife Mary, Cody Saumier and fiancé Haley McTaggart; grandchildren, Lexi Barnard (Jason), Mariah Rosey, Cassandra Spiker (Wesley McKenzie), Shannon Michael (Dustin), Austin Trowbridge (Autumn), Hannah May (Tyler), Cheyenne Lung (Adam), William Deal, Cathleen Wilburn (Jordan); great grandchildren, Logan, Addison, Violet, River, Elena, Wyatt, Bentley, Payton, Mitchell, Carter, Hazeleigh, Fallon, Liam, Brantley, Maverick, and Heartland; sister, Audrey Beeman (Les); brother-in-law, Sonny Murphy; and many nieces and nephews.

Bon worked at the shirt factory, several local nursing homes and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Barrellville Outdoor Club, Kennells Mill Sportsman’s Club and an avid BINGO player.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Monday June 3, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Duane Riddle officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses.
