Hyndman, PA – Brent Alan Turner, 63, of Hyndman passed away Thursday April 9, 2020 at his home.

Born January 27, 1957 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Emory and Glendora (Smith)Turner. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Darren McCoy.

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Gail L. (McCoy) Turner, whom he married March 18, 1983;a son, Daniel Turner and wife Ashley of Springville, Alabama; a daughter, Kelsey Suter and husband Ryan of Morgantown, WV; a grandson who was the apple of Brent’s eye, Easton “Little Britches” Turner; brothers, Ronnie Turner and wife Connie of Cumberland, Larry Turner and wife Lois of Ridgeley, WV; special aunt and uncle, Maxine and Hobert Simmons, of Romney, WV; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Paulette McCoy of Hyndman and sister-in-law, Tracie Mathews and husband Chris of Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.

Brent was a 1975 graduate of Allegany High. He worked for Potomac Edison under First Energy. He attended Cooks Mills United Methodist Church and was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club, the Cumberland Outdoor Club and the Quack Pack camping group.

Brent loved camping and traveling. One of his favorite places was myrtle beach. He enjoyed attending concerts especially Tim Haines and The Cramer Brothers with his club family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic the family will conduct the funeral service privately.
