Corriganville, MD – Bret Eugene Crawford, 45, of Corriganville, passed away peacefully Monday May 28, 2018 at his home.

Born August 17, 1972 in Cumberland; he was a son of Larry and Margaret (Ensminger) Crawford. Preceded in death by a nephew, Aiden Crawford.

Survived by his parents Larry and Margaret Crawford, Corriganville, brother, Carl Crawford (Billie), Meyersdale; sisters, Christa Crawford (Adam Hines), Short Gap, Mary Crawford, Corriganville, Jamie Stevey (Michael), LaVale; nieces and nephews, Dana Cawford, Carl Crawford Jr., AJ and Angel Hines, Landon and Hayden Stevey and several aunts uncles and cousins.

Bret was a 1991 graduate of Mt. Savage High School. He worked at many places over the years including the Golden Rule Home Center and Builders Surplus. Bret was an avid dirt track race fan and enjoyed flea markets and sales. He was also a member of the DNR Conservation Corps for several years.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
