Obituary

Hyndman, PA Charles E. Raynor Sr., of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Sunday October 5, 2014 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born November 14, 1952, in Cumberland, MD; he was a son of the late Doris (Raynor) Monahan and Floyd and Naomi (Broadwater) Raynor. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Harold, William and Raymond Raynor, Mary Raynor and Ruth Loudermilk.

Survived by his wife of 44 years, Esther J. (Pritts) Raynor, whom he married September 11, 1970; children, Lennie Fresh, Gilmore, MD, Robin Sarver and husband Clarence, Hyndman, PA, D.J. Holliday and husband Jason, Mt. Savage, MD, Charles Raynor Jr., Forstburg, MD, Rebecca Nicol and husband Leroy, Frostburg, MD; 11 grandchildren, Amanda and Latasha Fresh, Hannah and C.J. Sarver, Benjamin, Emily, Gilbert and Gabrielle Nicol, Cole Holliday, Christopher Miller, and Preston Raynor; 3 great grandchildren, Jayla LaRue, Briauna and Myra Martin; siblings, Shirley Loudermilk, Gettsburg, PA, Ellis “Bump” Raynor, John Monahan, Alona Monahan all of Midland, MD and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Raynor was a 1970 Graduate of Beall High School. He worked as an auto mechanic.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Evangelist Chad Fatula officiating.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses.
