Hyndman, PA – Christopher R. Ranker, 18, of Hyndman died peacefully at home on Monday February 5, 2018.

Born December 17, 1999 in Cumberland; a son of Royce and Maria (Knetzer) Ranker. Preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Joellen Knetzer.

Survived by his parents, Royce and Maria; sister, Liala Ranker, paternal grandparents, Ray and Susan Ranker, aunt, Jill Ranker; uncles, Scotty Ranker and John Knetzer; cousins, Amber and John Kelly and Sierra Wood.

Chris was a senior at Hope for Hyndman Charter School. He enjoyed video games, camping and bonfires. He played soccer and baseball.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the Wills Mountain Church of Christ, 1370 Gooseberry Ave, Hyndman on Saturday at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
