Clara J. Kreigline, 89, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Windber Hospice.

Born November 30, 1931 in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Arthur George and Ida Bell (Bruck) Kreigline. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Devon, Donald, and James Kreigline; sisters, Betty Jane Sturtz and Phyllis Getz and her dog, Tiny.

Survived by brother, Robert Kreigline and wife Lois Jean of Ft. Loudon, PA; sister, Marlene Clites of Hyndman; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kreigline of Hyndman; and many nieces and nephews.

Clara was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She worked as a lifeguard at Shawnee Park, Fairfoot Shoe Factory in Bedford till it closed and the Bedford Telephone Company.

Clara was the first girl to play baseball on the boy’s team in Hyndman. Throughout the years she played in many different leagues including the Hagerstown Molly’s.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday November 1, 2021 from 3 to 7 p.m. Visitors are ask to wear masks.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Spiker officiating. Viewing one hour prior.
