Lewes, DE – Curtis S. Emerick, 90, Lewes, DE; passed away August 2, 2020, at his home

Born March 20, 1930 in Southampton Twp, Somerset County; he was a son of the late Clarence and Saloma (Clites) Emerick. He was also preceded in death by his wife Helen L (Moore) Emerick in 2011; siblings, Annie Deneen, Blanche Olher, Chester Emerick, Eva Emrick, John Emerick, Leo Emerick, Ray Emerick, Ruby Shroyer and Lillie Osborne; a son in law, Harold Shaffer and daughter in law, Paula Emerick.

Survived by children, Duwayne Emerick of Lewes, DE; Paul Emerick and wife Holly of Georgetown, DE, and Cindy Shaffer of Lewes, DE; sister, Ilene Kennell, brother, Vernon Emerick both of Hyndman. 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.

Curtis was a master carpenter. He enjoyed his garden.

Friends will be received at the Comps Church, Hyndman on Saturday august 8, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m. where a service will be held at 3 pm with Pastor Roger Huffman officiating.
