Corriganville, MD – Daniel E. Burkett, 51 of Corriganville, formerly of Hyndman passed away Friday April 7, 2017 at his home.

Born July 22, 1965 in Bedford, PA; he was a son of the late Robert F. and Marilyn L. “Max” (Lienhardt) Burkett.

Survived by three daughters, Delicia Harden and husband Keith of Corriganville; Dorie Dobak and husband Cory of Mt. Carmel, PA; Danita Burkett and fiancé Tyler Smith of Corriganville; a brother Timothy Burkett and wife Vicki of Buffalo Mills; grandchildren Steven, Grace, and Jacob Dobak and Karis Harden; also by his special friend Linda.

Mr. Burkett served in the US Army. He had been a truck driver for many years. He attended Bible Gospel Church.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Pensyl officiating.

Burial will be at Rocky Gap Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
