Daniel R. Stillwagon, 60, passed away November 21, 2022. Born December 23, 1961 in Pittsburgh; he was a son of Bernie Foreman and Janet Logan. He is preceded in death by father, Bernie Foreman; his adoptive parents, Allen and Dorothy Stillwagon.; a brother, Richard Logan.

He was the loving husband of Donna (Leap) Stillwagon; devoted father to, Nicholas J. Stillwagon of Bedford, Sarah J. Stillwagon, at home. He is also survived by his birth mother, Janet Logan, sisters, Kim (Logan) Haas, Loralie Newtown and Kelly Wilson of Virginia Beach, brothers, Bill, Jim and John Logan all of Connellsville, Robb and Billie Foreman of PA; stepmother Joyce Foreman of IN; father and mother-in-law, Don and Lynne Leap of Buffalo Mills, brother-in-law, Barry Leap and wife Beverly, of Greencastle, sister-in-law, Marjorie Leap, of Buffalo Mills.

Daniel attended Christ Lutheran Church. He started his military career in the Army and then served in the Air National Guard and ultimately retired from the US Air Force Reserve after 26 years. He was a security guard at the County Club Mall for over 10 years. He worked for various government agencies for over 20 years receiving numerous awards and recognitions throughout his military and government career. Most recently he worked as a defense contractor for DCMA. He loved the Baltimore Colts and enjoyed watching horror movies with his daughter.

Friend will be received at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7139 Hyndman Rd., Buffalo Mills, on Tuesday November 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the church, on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at 1 pm at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, MD, with military honors by the American Legion Post 13 Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made Wounded Warrior Project or Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
