Obituary

Hyndman, PA – David “DJ” Troutman Jr., 39, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Thursday August 12, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born January 20, 1982 in Cumberland, MD; he was the son of David Sr. and Robin (Granger) Troutman. He is preceded in death by uncle, Gary Granger, mother-in-law, Nancy Batzel, paternal grandparents, Homer and Helen Troutman; maternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Granger.
Survived by his wife of 15 years, Lori (Batzel) Troutman, whom he married June 10, 2006; son, Drake Troutman, parents, Dave and Robin Troutman, father-in-law, Fred Batzel, brother-in-law, Mark Batzel, uncles and aunts, Rich and Kitty Troutman and Renee Granger, several cousins, his dog sonny; and his racing family.
DJ was the office manager at his family’s business, D&R Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing in Canada and racing. DJ drove the number 7 car in the Emod/late model racing. DJ followed in his father’s footsteps in racing and now Drake is following in DJ’s.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His family kindly asked everyone to wear a mask to visit.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. with Pastor Greg Miller officiating.
Burial at Hyndman Cemetery, Hyndman, PA.
