Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Debora K. Stahlman, 67, of Hyndman passed away Sunday February 20, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born September 2, 1954 in Cumberland; she was a daughter of James W. Sr. and Dolores Y. (Plummer) Twigg. She is preceded in death by her father, James; and an infant daughter, Jessica Stahlman.
Survived by her husband, of 47 years,  Curtis “Richard” Stahlman Jr., whom she married May 4, 1974; children, Heather Jenkins and husband, Terry of Hagerstown, MD, Kurt Stahlman and wife Tessa, Chris Stahlman and wife Annessa, Shane Stahlman all of Hyndman, grandchildren, Courtney, Kylie, and Reese Jenkins; Tristan, Riley, Bailey, Kendal, Trinity, Nevaeh, Christian, Asher, Journee, Colt and Beckham Stahlman; mother, Dolores Twigg of Hyndman, sisters, Brenda Pensyl and husband Gary of Buffalo Mills, Cheri Leydig and husband Jeff of Walkersville, Lesa Coughenour and Eric Shaffer of Hyndman; brothers, James W. Twigg Jr and wife Gay, Charles Twigg and wife Rhonda all of Buffalo Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie was a homemaker, mother and school cook for the Cumberland Valley, Hyndman Elementary, and Bedford Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, who called her Maw-Maw and cooking meals for Sunday gatherings. She was loved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and never met stranger. Her home was open to all!
Friends will be received at the Tri-State Ministry Center, 232 Hyndman Road, Hyndman, on Friday February 25, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Tri-State Ministry Center on Saturday February 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery.
