Ellerslie, MD – Delores J. (Albright) DeVore, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.  Born November 4, 1939 in Madley, PA; she was a daughter of the late Leo Grant and Loretta I. (Stuby) Albright. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard L. “Dick” DeVore Sr. and sister, Carolyn Ritchey. She is survived by her children, Richard L. “Dick” DeVore Jr., Robert L. “Bob” DeVore, and Stephanie K. Mills, and their families.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Gerald Albright of Cumberland, Bill Albright of Buffalo Mills; and sisters, Cathy Dicken of Cresaptown, and Mona Lee Elder of Hyndman. Delores attended Catherman’s Business School and began her work career at Montgomery Ward.  She later worked at the Country Club Mall for many years at Gould’s Cabinet Refacing, Orange Julius, Father and Son’s Shoe Store, and Sterling Optical.  She attended Tri-State Ministry Center. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, cooking, and baking. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday April 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  A funeral service will be conducted at the Tri State Ministry Center, 232 Hyndman Road, Hyndman Saturday April 14, 2018 at 10:00 am with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating. Visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery with the grandsons serving as pallbearers and the granddaughters as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri State Ministry Center Building Fund, Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Allegany County Animal Shelter, or the Special Olympics of Allegany County.
