Buffalo Mills, PA – Delores Jean Scaife Emerick, 83, of Buffalo Mills passed away Sunday June 23, 2024, at UPMC Altoona.

Born January 20, 1941, in Cumberland a daughter of the late Walter “Pete” and Irene (Emerick) Burkett Bunner. Also preceded in death by stepfather, Andrew Bunner; brother, Gerald Burkett; sisters, Joyce Humberston and Betty Collins.

Survived by children, Robert Scaife and wife Diane; Roger Scaife and wife Tammy, Deborah Shaffer and husband Harry; brothers; Roger Burkett and wife Diana, Gary Burkett and wife Sabrina, all of Beggs, OK; a sister, Edna Lee Dom and husband John of Mount Savage; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She attended Comps Church and loved spending time with her family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday June 27, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday June 28, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Tony Stair officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
