Hyndman, PA – Donna E. Lafferty, 87, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 28, 2020 at Pennknoll Village.

Born December 27, 1932 in Hyndman, PA; she was a daughter of the late Bert William and Mildred Irene (Thomas) Evans. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Lafferty in 1981.

Survived by children, Dale Lafferty and wife Nancy of Bard, Terry Lafferty of Hyndman, Delores Chaney and husband Larry of Berlin, Glenna Murray and husband Gary of Hyndman; grandchildren, Krystal Weyant and husband Leland, Stephen Lafferty and wife Liz, Nathan Murray and wife Katelynn, Matt Murray; great grandchildren, Landon, Addison, Harper, Jase, Madison, Noel, and Caroline.

Donna worked at Fair Foot Shoe Factory in Bedford for 15 years. She was the caretaker for 13 local cemeteries where she mowed grass and prepared graves. She was a member of Gravel Pit United Methodist Church and also attended Calvary Bible Church. She loved her cats and enjoyed gospel and country music. She attended many gospel music shows and hymn sings with her good friend, Shirley Smith.

Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic services will be private. A memorial service will be announced at a later date

Burial at Hyndman Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made Gravel Pit United Methodist Church or Calvary Bible Church.
