Obituary

Dora E. “Sally” Moore, 94, of Hyndman, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022.
Born June 6, 1928, in Confluence, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Burley M. Harris Jr. and Alma B. (Lytle) Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Moore, in 2017; son, Terry Lee Goddard; and sisters, Joyce Phillips and Lena Linderman
She is survived by a son, Allen D. Moore, and wife, Ronda (Shaffer), of Hyndman; a daughter, Gwen M. Monahan, and husband, Gary, of Frostburg; sisters, Alice McClintock and Alma Basinger of Confluence; brother, Burley Harris III of Roanoke, Va.; four grandchildren: Dena Weaverling, Autumn Avila, Terry and Shane Moore; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moore was a seamstress at Lazarus Clothing Store. She was a member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Cumberland Chapter 56, McKinley Chapter 12 and Mountain Chapter 15, and a member of Daughters of the Nile Cumberland #684.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman, on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, from 1 to 2 p.m., where a service will follow at 2 p.m.
