Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Dorothy A. “Dotty” Leydig, 81, of Buffalo Mills, went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 30, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Everett.
Born May 3, 1934 in Cumberland; she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Nellie (Ringler) Sheirer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior G. Leydig in 2005; and a sister, Norma Jean Emerick in 2004.
Survived by children Carl Holler and wife Jenn of Buffalo Mills, Cathy Moen and husband Carl of Everett, Calvin Leydig and wife Amy of Hyndman, grandchildren, Alexander and Veronica Holler, Kayla, Tim, Sara, and Owen Leydig, Courtney, Cassidy, and Cruise Moen; a great granddaughter, Ava Moen and special nephews, Daryl and Dean Emerick.
Dotty had cleaned homes for many years. She also worked at the Bedford Gazette and the 5 and 10 store in Hyndman. She was a member of Bible Gospel Church. She was the worlds greatest mother and will be deeply missed by her family.
Friends will be received at the Bible Gospel Church, 4866 Hyndman Rd, Hyndman on Sunday January 3rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the church, Monday January 4th at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fay Leydig and Rev. Stevie Leydig officiating.
Interment will be in the Lybarger Cemetery.
