Dorothy Mae Pencilroad, 78, of Donahoe Manor Nursing Home, Bedford, PA, passed away at the home surrounded by her friends and family on July 17, 2018.

Dorothy Mae was born April 16, 1940 in Altoona to the late Gwendolyn and Stanford Smith. Also preceded in death by her aunt Violet Rose; caregivers and dear friends, Ida, Fred and Mary Evans of Hyndman PA.

Dorothy Mae is survived by cousins, Barbara Corle, Fern Rose, Rodney Rose and Ronald Rose all of Bedford County. Dorothy is also survived by her extended family at Donahoe Manor and her friend Lissa, all of whom cherished her greatly. Dorothy will always be remembered for her infectious smile, ability to make everyone laugh and her love for anyone she met. She has many dear friends and will be greatly missed.

Burial was private at Hyndman Cemetery. Hyndman, PA.
