Frances M. “Sissy” Lofblad, 94, passed away on October 30, 2021 at the home of her niece Kay and Kenny Harden, where she lived for 3 years.

Born March 14, 1927, in Ellerslie; she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Tresa (Lowery) See. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; sister, Lillian Martin; and brother, Melvin See.

She is survived by a sister, Ida “Jeannie” Shaffer; brother, Merle See; and many nieces, nephews, and greats that all loved her dearly.

Frances began her working career at the undergarment factory in Cumberland. She then moved to Washington DC where she worked at the telephone company until her retirement. She was a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed many wonderful trips. She attended Calvary Bible Church after moving to Hyndman from Connellsville.

A special thank you to Conemaugh Regional Hospice for their outstanding care and attention to her needs, especially nurse Carolyn and aide Sherri. Also the Hyndman Rescue Squad.

Due to current Covid conditions services will be private.

Burial will be at Porters Cemetery.
