Obituary

Fairfax, VA – Gary Lee Hartman, 66, of Fairfax, passed away Thursday May 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born June 5, 1949 in Meyersdale, PA; he was a son of Alfred and Betty Lou (Higgs) Hartman. He is preceded in death by his father and a brother Mitch.
Gary was a store manager at CVS Pharmacies. He enjoyed bluegrass music and played the guitar and banjo. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Decker of Grantsville, his wife Gale (Ringler) Hartman, children, Rhonda McGiffin and husband Matt of Wilmington, OH, Hope Barankovick and husband Chris of Harpers Ferry, WV, Brandi Tovar and husband Jason, and Brian Mangum all of Springfield VA; five grandchildren, Carter, Nicole, Isabelle, Taylor and Isaac; sisters, Debbie, Carol and a brother Terry.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 12 to 2 pm where a service will be conducted at 2pm.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery
