Hyndman, PA – Georgia H. Close, 83, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Saturday July 11, 2020 at Allegany Nursing and Rehab, Cumberland.

Born March 28, 1937, in Hyndman, PA; she was a daughter of the late George E. and Margaret (Logsdon) Holler. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Close in 2005, and a brother Michael Holler.

Survived by her daughters, Patricia ‘’Patty” Leap and husband, Baron, Lisa Stahlman and husband, Frank Jr.; a sister, Cindy Holler, all of Hyndman; grandchildren, Travis Leap and wife, Caroline, Cory Stahlman and wife, Deidre, Casey Stahlman and wife, Devan, and Courtney Stahlman; great grandchildren, Harrison, Henry, Naomie and Matthew. Also survived by a niece, Amy Mailloux and husband, Tom and their son Evan.

Georgia was school secretary for 30 years at the Londonderry Intermediate School. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Hyndman Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Crafty Christians, and the Republican Committee.

She was a loving and generous person. Our family will always cherish the memories of how she made holidays and birthdays so special for everyone.

There will be no viewing.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial at Hyndman Cemetery.
