He married the girl he met at 7 years old. They spent many years together with their families, growing a friendship, even before they started dating. They spent 68 years as husband and wife. Life wasn’t easy for them, they both worked hard making their own contributions to their commitment to each other.

Bink was forced to drop out of school in the eighth grade, he was needed on the family farm. He spent his life working that same farm. Even though his formal education was limited, it didn’t slow him down. He took care of all the financial aspects of the farm for years. His common sense and mechanical ability served him well.

He served on the County Road Board and was a Township Supervisor for 30 years, where he also plowed snow in the winter after feeding and milking his cows. He was a member of the Dairy Farm Board and Pennsylvania Farm Board.

He was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Church. He served on their Deacon Board and was an usher for many years. He worked hard, his whole life. He faced many challenges providing for his family. He and Ella Jean always managed to feed their family and see that they were in church. The family is saddened by his loss on earth but rejoices in his new beginning in heaven. Bink is now reunited with Ella Jean, and so many other loved ones who went before him.
