Obituary
Corriganville, MD – Harriet C Wolfe, 92, of Corriganville, MD passed away February 3, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born January 5, 1929, in Cumberland; she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Naomi (Clark) Snyder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John O. Wolfe, in 2005.
Survived by children, Susan P. Boyd and husband Michael of Parkersburg, WV; Dr. John O. Wolfe II and wife Susan of Corriganville; Dr. Joseph G. Wolfe and wife Janice of McConnellsburg, PA, grandchildren, Jason Boyd wife Melissa, Scott Boyd, Megan Diffendale and husband Bill, Aaron Wolfe and wife Jacklyn, Andrew Wolfe and wife Jackie, Adam Wolfe and wife Susan, Aimee Mellott, Jennifer Saunders, Nicholas Wolfe and wife Heather, and Matthew Wolfe; great grandchildren, Ethan, Zane, Nash, Anna, Jane, Billy, Abbey, Maddey, Kayla, Emily, Oscar, Jade, Blake, Logan, Zoe and Charli; and special cousin, Cuddy Crabtree.
Harriet was the Postmaster in Corriganville from 1972 to 1989 and active in NAPUS postmaster’s organization. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of several local card clubs as well as the last original member of the Corriganville Card Club. She was a member of the Corriganville Streetlight Association responsible for getting the streetlights in Corriganvillle. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary at St John’s UCC. She was very active with her children’s school activities and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harriet watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and also enjoyed football and college basketball.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD.
